Rachel Chen: Birding 101

Rachel Chen is a rising senior at Leigh High School, and the founder of the school’s Birding club. She presented her research work on birds to the children in June, 2021. 

Molly Chen: Intro to Speech and Debate

Molly is a rising 9th grader at Crystal Springs. She has done Model UN for 3 years, and started Public Forum (PF) debate last summer. She has attended multiple tournaments and will continue to compete in the future. In addition to debate, Molly was co-captain of her volleyball team, and enjoys spending time on the volleyball court. She also loves playing the piano, and this summer, she found a new passion: sailing!  Molley Presented "Intro to Speech and Debate" in June, 2021. 

Karen Lin: Dental Health Education

Karen Lin is a rising sophomore at Palo Alto High School. She loves competitive informative speaking and is an expository speaker on the Palo Alto Speech and Debate Team. Aside from speech and debate, she enjoys studying contemporary physical, oral, and mental health. Karen also sings in her school's choirs. In her spare time, she enjoys watching intense congressional debate sessions and exercising while listening to music. Karen presented "Dental Health Education" in July, 2021. 

Jenny Yang: AI, Computer Science, & Stanford

Jenny is a current computer science student at Stanford. She will talk about her AI experiences, computer science major and her college life in general. Jenny graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy.  she’s co-president of Exeter Student Service Organization (ESSO), which she joined as a prep, as well as co-head of the Computer Science Club (she was the sole female member when she joined), and co-captain of the volleyball team. Jenny's presentation was very well received by the students and many were on the waiting list for the event (July, 2021).
